Amped up on espresso hard to right a review... get it while it’s hot!!!
I just spent a month in Europe and this was the one thing that really made a difference. I’m a huge advocate of light as possible only carry on travel. I found this essential to kickstart the day.
Very nice product for travel. Easy to carry and use.
We ordered this item for our family road trip in these hot days. First of all, it arrived a little earlier than expected. The item was well-packaged with extra protection. The size is just the right one for our drinks and snacks. Then, guess what, it actually did its job very well. This refrigerator unit provided us the ice-cold drinks all the way along our trips especially in the heat wave during our trip. Even after unplugging, it still held the temperature for a while while we stopped by somewhere for a break. We were happy that we had this box with us and enjoyed the cold beverages. Now we put this product on our gift list for the Christmas. By the way, we are thinking this box may be ideal for our weekly supermarket shopping for some frozen stuff.
This car refrigerator is awesome, small and dainty, works perfectly, especially can be plugged into regular 120V AC outlet and the 12V power supply in the car. Make an ordinary car have the enjoyment of a luxury car, convenient size can be taken to a picnic and can be brought into a hotel room, very convenient!
It's okay, it's great. Thank you to the seller.
Great stuff. Everything came up. Thermo protection and mechanical protection of the refrigerator convenient handles for carrying have pockets where you can fold the Chargers.
So far I haven't been able to field test it but after operating it I've observed these:
1. compressor is very quiet, design looks great, It looks like it will hold about 3 dozen egg carton, butter, 1 medium meat packaging (alot more if you keep it in ziploc bag) and some veggies.
2. it is drawing about 30-35Wh in my 20C room, takes about 30-35 minutes to bring 20C to 1C, and using my food thermometer the temperature meter on the fridge is correct.
3. you really have to push the plug into fridge socket and taking them out is a pain, and when you give it a good push the plastic part of the fridge caves in, though there doesn't seem to be worry of damaging the fridge, it is slight annoyance if your hands cold or injured during camping or whatever.
overall I checked the YouTube reviews of the company and best price available, these 12v fridges all seem to be made in same manner, right now joytutus and vevor has the slightly better value in Canada but there are more of these companies springing up every month. I paid the initial cost up front and hoping it will pay off by storing food that I cook in big portions and not having to buy expensive pre-made meal or topping up ice.
